Les odeurs, les bruits, les obstacles, l’immensité des espaces… tout cela peut aussi être intimidant pour un animal habitué à la vie urbaine, par exemple. Si le vôtre s’adapte moins facilement aux nouveaux environnements, commencez par de petites promenades, de 20 à 30 minutes, éventuellement en longe.

Anticipez les préparatifs en fonction du lieu de promenade. Vous pouvez ainsi prévoir une serviette pour une sortie en bord de mer, une pince à tiques ou une petite trousse de premiers secours pour une balade en forêt, ou encore de l’eau et une portion de croquettes pour une randonnée en montagne qui durerait toute une journée.
