The half of your expectation is correct but other the half is wrong.

Pi block chain is Layer-1 blick chain.
Layer- 1 blockchain mean they have main net. If there is no main net that is not Layer- 1 block chain.

Anyway,
After open main net you can sell(?) your pi.
But i guess this is exchanging system with pi bank maybe.

You read attachment of white paper like dollar system. If you need a dollar. You can buy dollar.

Maybe same.
That focus is sustainable and stable price of pi.

You only wait your kyc and open main net with GCV or more

Depend on number of pioneer.
Technically open main net is so easy.
